best celtic songs

This Irish folk songs list includes all the rousing classics, and some mournful ballads as well. It is always a pleasure to hear from you. :). Check out a band called the Kildares, they are from the Dallas area in Texas and they are a Gaelic metal band, there older songs were more metal than now but I think you may like the sound. I love Loreena and Celtic Women, great list. I have been a big fan of Enya, Clannad, and Loreena McKennit for a long time. When it comes to well-known Irish traditional folk music, the song “Whiskey in the Jar” is perhaps the most popular of all. I am glad you have finally found Celtic music! Moving Hearts only stayed together for a few years, but they made a lasting impression on the Irish music scene, with Christy Moore, Dónal Lunny and Declan Sinnott all going on to have successful careers in their own right.
