This Irish folk songs list includes all the rousing classics, and some mournful ballads as well. It is always a pleasure to hear from you. :). Check out a band called the Kildares, they are from the Dallas area in Texas and they are a Gaelic metal band, there older songs were more metal than now but I think you may like the sound. I love Loreena and Celtic Women, great list. I have been a big fan of Enya, Clannad, and Loreena McKennit for a long time. When it comes to well-known Irish traditional folk music, the song “Whiskey in the Jar” is perhaps the most popular of all. I am glad you have finally found Celtic music! Great list. one thing I would like to add is that most people don't realise that the South of England was mainly celtic as well, for example Bodecea our greatest Celtic queen, came from the southeast of England, so most of the south down here is celtic.
